Parents please join us for our first meeting of the school year. We will discuss about SSC officers and bylaws, what presentations would be great to learn about, upcoming events and we would like to hear from you. Any suggestions or concerns you may have we want to hear them. We are always looking for ways to make Stein and Duncan Russell a better place for our students, staff and families.

Platicaremos del los oficiales de SSC y reglamentos, de la las presentaciones que podemos tener en el futuro, próximos eventos y nos gustaría saber de ustedes. Algunas sugerencias o preocupaciones que puedan tener, nosotros queremos saberlas. Siempre estamos buscando maneras de hacer de Stein y Duncan Russell un lugar mejor para nuestros estudiantes, el personal y las familias.

FACE COVERING PROTOCOLS
Although the current power outages in San Joaquin County have not impacted our ability to provide online instruction at this time, we understand it could impact some students’ ability to access their online classes.
Teachers will be reaching out to their students with updated information and posting class materials online for students who are unable to attend their classes due to the power outages and students may be given extensions to complete their assignments.
With the current heatwave and the potential for future outages, we want to remind our students and families of the following tips to help you during the current or future outages.
DRCDS Distance Learning will begin Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
Instructional Materials and supplies can be picked up in the office between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Helpful Hints and Reminders:
~We will use Microsoft Office 365 as our instructional platform.
~Microsoft Teams if where students will login and attend daily classes.
~Students will need to access Microsoft Teams daily to login to their classes for instruction and activities
~Attendance will be taken daily, and attendance will count. Students will be accountable to not e truant (having unexcused absences).
~All work and assessments will now count for grading and credit purposes.

UPDATE: FREE MEALS TROUGH DECEMBER 31ST!!
With Distance Learning we will still be providing both breakfast and lunch, distributed curbside. Even though it is free through December 31st, we still need you to fill out your application today!
We will be serving grab and go meals curbside at all school sites except Stein.
Lunch pickup times will be from 11:30 - 12:30.
You may drive-thru or walk up. Students must be present with their ID number to scan. Meals include lunch and breakfast
